About Me
Hello, My name is Rashi Maithul. Thank you for stopping by my website. Currently, I am a student of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Tourism Development and Culture (TourDC) with a fully funded scholarship sponsored by the European Union, starting 2020.
As a part of this degree program, I have already completed my first year at University of Glasgow & University of Malta and am currently pursuing my final semester at the ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal.
Before Erasmus, I was a full time tourism marketing professional with over 3 years of international experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies for high-achieving online and offline campaigns pertaining to travel & tourism. I possess excellent commercial awareness, market insights with expertise in Marketing Management & Communications, Market Research and Strategic thinking to drive profitable businesses.
Besides my academics & research activities, I am actively involved with the Erasmus Mundus Association as a Social Media Manager for Project Support Unit. It has been an enriching experience working with an international team of volunteers who are motivated to promote education, multicultural exchange, diversity and inclusion of cultures, networking and new project opportunities for Erasmus Mundus students and alumni.
Apart from this, I work with Green Destinations - as an Intern. Green Destination is a non-profit organisation working towards developing a sustainable tourism industry.

I hold expertise in developing marketing strategies and collateral with minimal budgets - including brochures, PowerPoint presentations and social media content. For the same I have delivered a lot of sales pitches on sustainable tourism to international audiences.

I possess rigid attention to details and have the ability to work under pressure. Possesses a sharp eye for detail, a hands-on approach to work and a dedication to excellence. Highly adaptable, able to juggle multiple projects and enjoys working with diverse groups of people and being challenged.
Events
In my past work experiences I was able to manage events and training programs domestically for over 100+ delegates, developing theme and contents, run sheets and event documentation, producing marketing collateral, coordinating logistics (including venues, travel and visas), corresponding with presenters and attendees and managing event teams.
